OUR HISTORY

Nuova Ret was founded in 1964 from a simple yet ambitious idea of its founder, Sebastiano D'Addato, who began his activity with a centerless grinding machine in a small basement in Sesto San Giovanni, producing and delivering his first orders by bicycle.

Driven by a forward-looking entrepreneurial vision and strong determination, he decided to rent the first production space and take on his first employees, laying the foundations for the company’s future growth.

Over the years, the company stood out for the quality of its products, production flexibility, and its ability to promptly respond to customer needs. These factors, combined with a strategy of continuous innovation, enabled Nuova Ret to become a reference point in the production of standard punches and the supply of standardized mold components.

In 1980, following steady and exponential growth and annual production exceeding one million units, Nuova Ret moved to a new 1,000 sqm facility. Expansion continued in the following years, particularly in the early 2000s, when the company further diversified its offering by investing in a dedicated production line for custom-designed components, especially punches and dies, meeting the demands of new industrial sectors and quickly establishing itself as one of the European leaders.

Ongoing investments and the need for additional production space led the company to acquire a new 2,000 sqm facility in Cinisello Balsamo, marking another milestone in its growth. Nuova Ret became an international reference point in the manufacturing of punches, dies, and other special components serving the industry.

Today, Nuova Ret relies on a team of 40 highly qualified employees, 50 machine tools, and a total production area of 3,000 sqm.
